Hello….

Hello All,

I have been tuning so keep those pants on.  I tuned an Evo 9 last week and I have a Buschur built Evo to tune this week so it should make good power. I will get some pics and keep my loyal blog readers posted.

Some big news here for me and Jon.  In the next month or so we will have a real office to conduct all of this out of.  This may not seem like a lot to most people but we built this company from a dream into a real thing so it is a big deal for us.  We have officially been in business for 1.5 years and we are getting bigger by the day.  So eat a dick if you are hating.

For those of you that want an update here it goes:

I ( Mitch M) am a student now for Mechanical Engineering and am trying t find a place to live in Denver.   I have been doing a lot of rallying and me and a friend have decided to build a car for this years Rally America and some other events including next years pikes peak hill climb. ( With some help from some sponsors and Salta lol)

Jon is in the Bahamas doing the dream job and enjoying life.  He will be back one day soon and it will again be full force for VE.  We have missed Jon but who can blame a guy for wanting to work in paradise for a little while.

Hope all is well with everyone and we will update soon.

Pikes Peak Hill Climbing

Hello People,

This week I have been in Colorado Springs working on the some cars for the Pikes Peak Hill climb.  Pikes Peak for the unknowing is probably the biggest Hill Climb in the world.  It is also very dangerous.  It starts at 9,000 ft and ends at 14,100ft.  So it is very crucial to get a solid tune on the car and it makes it a little different to tune a car for this race.  With such a rapid change in barometric pressure getting a tune 100% really requires a lot of tweaking to make it really solid.

We took two cars up there and I went with Salta Performance.  Salta is a shop here in Denver that builds rally cars, and they can build one hell of a rally car.  These guys really know there shit.  I know that when I decide to build a rally car these guys will have not only a hand in it, but maybe a foot and some other parts in it.

Dave and his wife Allison won the Time Attack class and set a new time attack record.  Congrats to them as I know they will only get faster.

Anyways on to some pictures.

Also you will see in the pictures the famous Suzuki Escudo.   It is called the XL7 or something like this but it is still the Escudo.  This is one of the baddest cars I have ever seen in my life, and that is saying a lot cause I have seen a lot.  This car is so fucking fast it is stupid.  Power is somewhere in the 1000hp-1300hp range is what I am told.  Really an amazing car.  The antilag hit me in the chest and it took the breath right out of me.  Bad ass is an understatement.

On one last note while we were there on Race Day the Connellys got in a bad accident when they went off and split a tree.  They both broke there backs but I hear are doing ok.  My prayers go to them and hope they recover safely.

That is all enjoy the pics.

Colorado is the Shit.

Hello All,

Yesterday me and my business partner Jon aka Pigeon Hold them Hoes aka Johnny Two Toes aka Ginger Snap you in half went on a little trip.  We were supposed to go to Denver to tune a rally car for the pikes peak hill climb ( I will save this for another post) but due to time constraints they could not get the car done in time so we had some time to kill.  We made a stop in Boulder and went to a CD store called Barts.  Barts is the shit as it has just about any underground hip hop CD I would ever need and for those that know me well know I am obsessed with hip hop.  I picked up a thes one CD ( People under the stairs) for 5 dollars!!  Rock on!!

After that we then went ate at a little hot dog place that is famous in Colorado for also being the shit.  Mustards last stand is in Denver and the one in Boulder.  If you ever come to Colorado look them up they are awesome.

it was a super nice day yesterday and took some shots while we were driving around in the WRX.

The first picture is my favorite.  When we got to Denver and then decided to turn around and come back we saw these guys on I-25.  These guys had to weigh 300 lbs each and both of them were on this one motorcycle.  It was something out of Broke Back Mountain meets midlife crisis.  Who knows but it was funny none the less.

Thanks for reading.  Stay tuned for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb car and info.  VE Engineering is doing track support for one of the teams this year and it is going to be a blast.

Thanks,

Mitch Mckee

Aquamist Install

Hello All,

I went over to a friends house and tuned a car and also got a sneak peak at a water injection install that was done by my friend Pat.  Pat has been building high performance cars for years and he really knows his shit.  He builds race motors on the side for people, so if anyone needs a motor he is the guy to go to.

Anyways on to some pics.  Kit looked good the filler is ingenious.

Really came out great.  I will be tuning the car tomorrow and I will post up with the dyno sheet as soon as I have it.

Thanks for looking,

Mitch Mckee
