I am in Phoenix tuning some cars and testing some cams.  I tuned a friends car and it made some big power on pump.

 

I can not control the boost as it is just run off of the wastegate spring so boost could have come in sooner.  This car is a GT40R with an .83 hot side. 2.3l and all the other goodies that make this cars go fast.

 

He switched from the head he had to a Cosworth head and mother of god.  These heads are no joke as the last time I ran this car at 24psi I think it only made 440hp or so.  Now I am not going to say that the car gained 60hp from the head but something went very well with this car.

This is no record by anymeans but it is a shit ton of power.  For those that aren’t in the know this dyno typically dynos a stock Evo 9 at about 230hp.  So with no meth just pure 91 octane this thing fucking screams!  It may be one of the higher powered cars on 91 in the country, maybe not but I wouldn’t want to race it on the street.

There is still more left in it for sure.  Above is the log showing the knock count raw.  Less than 1v of knock is awesome!
